Isn't this the cutest! Gotta love it when they get their own ideas, skills and goals. There may be no more hair bows, no dresses, and our kisses have to be brief and on the cheek, but I truly looooove this child's creativity, independent thinking, her quick wit, and her big brain. God bless you dear one on your eleventh birthday, may this be a big year in your life!!

Summer..........it's just more fun

So I write a bit today

We are mid winter and I can't help but feel a bit like WHEN IS THIS COLD WEATHER GOING TO END!! I am not much of a cold weather fan, got a bit spoiled when we lived wayyyy down south. Looking at brown grass, frozen bird baths, and smelling fireplaces burning isn't exactly how I like my winter.

But so it is, we have January. We take what we don't like, make the best of it, and when April comes you can catch me bent over in the garden, looking for sprouts on my hostas, and waiting for that magical date....April 15........LET THE PLANTING BEGIN!!

I'm like my dad in that respect, we both love us some warm dirt, longer days of sunshine, and fresh air coming in the windows..........ahhhh.......

RD is not loud - neither quiet - she is intelligent, inquisitive, but also more discerning than others.

She talks when needed and is quiet when she needs to be.



So this is just a little bit of wonderful info about our future child...we are so excited and can't wait for our second court date February 19, 2009!
