When faced with danger, run forward!!

Today as I drove home I was tormented by what is right and what is easier. Right being go forth with what God has planted in my spirit. Easier being what others around me want, and possibly a safer decision.

I was driving the busiest road in town, four lanes of traffic, chaotic morning rush hour. I see a squirrel up ahead in the road. This is not a street that I would normally see a squirrel or any animal. The squirrel had already entered traffic. He was safe for just a moment. As I came closer to him, I urged him in my spirit to run back, turn around squirrel, go back where you came!!!! I was sure he was about to get smashed. I passed him safely, and watched him in my rear view mirror, hoping that he had turned around and gone back.

What do I see but the little squirrel continuing on his forward motion. Like lightning, he darted across the next three lanes of traffic. Never once wavering but with a straight forward mission..........

This is what God wants from me, and I will do it Lord!

He made it safely across............His Jordan!

Our family is doing wonderfully!

Newest addition is doing great! We have had lots of firsts, but everything has been so far so good. She is outgoing, smart, pretty, obedient, and usually a joy to be around. She has her moods, just like all us girls, but for the most part, adopting a 10 year old has been way easier than I would have thought! Thank you Jesus!
