| Still sleepy alot. The language is coming along pretty fast though. Her brain is so tired most of the time. Wish we had longer before school starts. She is really gonna be a little fish in a big pond......sigh..... |

The transition of Zoe has been nearly effortless. There have been less than five times that I have had to step in and referee. Out of five adoptions, Zoe is the second easiest. So for that we are thankful and our family has transitioned very well to having her with us too. She doesn't whine at all. When she is upset she just goes silent and is outta the game and sidelined for awhile of her own choosing. She seems to desire that the other kids beg her to rejoin and be apologetic for something if she gets her feelings hurt for them retaliating fairly to some aggression she does to them. Tit for tat........and tit for tat is kinda the biggest drama around our place right now. She does mimic the other kids though and has learned to swoop in for the affection and the fun at the appropriate times. She likes to be hugged and kissed......mainly because she thinks she is doing the hugger and the kisser a favor by being in their presence.......
OK....duh....she is a princess and is trying to keep her crown. She is learning that she is having to share it here though and sometimes that's a real issue for her.
Moving on now to family as a whole. The emphasis for the summer is fun and little sitting or computer time. I have lost four pounds just by getting off the computer. Updates will come more in the winter. Hope everyone has a great rest of the summer and God cover and protect your families:)
