Preparing to travel is hard on the heart

Goodbye.... That part I don't like. We spin the "what ifs" around til the tears come. So what we've decided to do is start saying goodbye to each other now so that when it is time to get on the plane, we will be "all dried up".

For those that don't know, I am afraid to fly. There I said it forever. I am scared. Even after the trip to China and having flown on nine planes during that trip, I am still scared.

Also this is daughter #2's first plane ride ever. She is excited, and wouldn't want to miss this for the world.

Here's a pic from the last time #1 and #2 said goodbye for the trip to China,

This time the roles are reversed, the redhead will go to Ethiopia to meet the butterfly! The oldest helped usher home the ladybug.

Please pray for us. Next week will be hard, even though we are already packed, pray that there be peace in our house and in our hearts.
