I thank God that her birth mother provided a future for this special girl. There were options that would have left an unspeakable void in my life and the lives of everyone those little hands will ever touch. Happy Mother's Day to those ladies that held my babies when they were not yet mine. Open adoption, I wish we would have had that option. Right now that "void" in her history is mine to hold. She doesn't understand yet that I would give absolutely anything to just have a glimpse of a mother that could have conceived a treasure such as her.

How sweet, Tammy! So true...don't you just wonder about what her birth mother is thinking and if she realizes what a treasure she is and all that she's missed! But thank God for her birth mother!
